Behind the Certification

GOTS is a globally recognized standard for textiles made with certified organic fiber. Covering the entire post-harvest production journey, it sets strict standards for environmental and social responsibility, including chemical input restrictions, wastewater treatment requirements, and strong social criteria throughout manufacturing. The result is a certification that speaks to integrity across the supply chain, giving customers greater confidence in the materials behind the product.

A New Chapter

Upholding our commitment to transparent luxury, MCM is now certified by the Control Union under GTB Nr. GOTS-27131.

Beginning with the Autumn / Winter 2026 collection, selected new arrivals will feature the GOTS tag, marking the use of certified organic fiber as part of MCM’s ongoing approach to more considered design. These latest pieces reflect our commitment to integrating responsible materials into the collections of today and tomorrow.
